If you’ve been on a Frozen kick like the rest of the world…especially if you have kids or gay friends, you’re probably thinking that Frozen is actually more of a horror movie. You’re tired of parodies, tired of Moms and Dads making fun of it and if you are a parent or have theatre queen friends, hearing it sung really off key. I’m tired of all of the parodies as well, but definitely not tired of singing the showtunes from Frozen. With that being said, I did find this randomly this morning and wanted to share. It’s the Disney’s Frozen Horror Movie Trailer. Be warned!
With Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway and everyone going crazy over it, did you ever wonder what happened to Neil Patrick Harris’s “Trouser Weasel”? Let’s face it, he doesn’t look too much like a bottom and he has a hot boyfriend so that huge “cock” hiding under his “gown” has got to be pretty impressive to help his husband have fun. So with such an impressive thing hiding under his “robe” you’d have to wonder how he can hide it when on stage in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
Luckily for you we did our research (i.e. wasted time on Facebook) and found out what really exists between NPH’s legs. A big, energetic and hairy beast that can wake up to stand at attention, do tricks and please almost any man…or woman. No sure what I mean? Watch the video below about Neil Patrick Harris’s best buddy and you may wonder as well how he hides it for Hedwig
Ok, so I went a bit overboard with the description, but if you haven’t ever watched Neil Patrick Harris’s puppet dream series from Nerdist you have to. It is all about really bad jokes…most of them are about being gay or sex so we’ll all love them, funny random puppets and of course our favorite crush from the 80’s or 90’s NPH. Dr. Horrible gets worse in these videos and you’ll love being distracted for about an hour when you need a break from work while watching Neil Patrick Harris’s Puppet dreams.
Once you’re done watching Neil’s Puppet Dreams, make sure to come back and watch the preview for Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway. We haven’t seen it yet but we are going in August and can’t wait. If you have seen Neil Patrick Harris in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, feel free to leave a comment below, but also please don’t spoil anything for the rest of us. Thank you again for reading and coming to our site and I hope you love Neil’s Puppet Dreams as much as we do. If you need tickets to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway, don’t forget to check out our tickets page where you can find broadway tickets on sale.
Each year I struggle with what to do for Mother’s Day showtunes. One year I had mommy bloggers share their favorite Disney valentine’s showtunes and another I chose a song I love to sing for my mom or that makes me think of her. I could always choose an anti-mother’s day showtune and take something from Annie or another show with orphan kids, but this year I thought of another.
This year’s showtunes for Mother’s Day is all about us kids with divorced parents and mom’s that are still single. I love my mom and love spending as much time together as possible, but at the same time I hate knowing she is home alone and not in love. Sometimes single mom’s can get depressed and even though they don’t need someone to marry, it doesn’t help that you get worried about them. Other single mom’s use their divorce as an excuse to drive you crazy, get over involved in their kids lives and that is how I decided to choose this from hundreds of options of Mother’s Day showtunes. BTW, if a Guy can sing Let It Go, then guys can completely take on this showtune for Mother’s Day.
Here is our pick for this year’s mother’s day showtunes, If Mama Was Married from Gypsy!
Ok, when I was in college I went to college in the same city my Mom lives in. Unfortunately that meant she decided to stop by everyday making this song a bit to real for me. I love my mom more than anything else, but at the same time I liked spending time alone, with my boyfriend who moved in with me and with my friends. Unfortunately my mom co-signed on the apartment I was renting (I was a college student) so she also liked to randomly stop by completely unannounced. That is why this is my pick for showtunes for Mother’s Day 2014. It’s for the kids of Moms who get divorced and decide that it’s time to get really and overly involved in their kids lives. Have an awesome Mother’s Day, don’t forget to call her or send a gift and feel free to share your own favorite showtunes for Mother’s Day by leaving a comment.
