Drag Queen Performs If You Got It, Flaunt It From The Producers

My friends and I went shopping in Rehoboth for Black Friday and of course we ended up going to Blue Moon (It’s the only bar open in the winter for the most part) and because it’s our favorite.  Luckily there was a drag show that night and the ladies were performing showtunes!   You may be curious why I said luckily and drag show in the same series of words.

If you know me then you know I avoid drag shows.  They can be boring, annoying and obnoxious.  Normally that’s true, but when you go to a drag show at Blue Moon in Rehoboth Beach, you get an actual show…not just great drag queens lip syncing.  That’s why I’m very happy to share this lovely lady performing If You Got It, Flaunt It from the Producers.

The cool thing about the drag shows at the Blue Moon is that they actually sing and perform.  In the video above you’ll see the drag queen perform If You Got It, Flaunt It from the Producers.  She not only sings, but she also ends up dancing and making it her own version of this classic showtune.

She adds in her own funny things for the locals with other drag queens names, changes lyrics for the audience and somehow keeps everything authentic to the actual showtune being performed.  The other fun thing that Drag Queens can do when they perform showtunes is alter the choreography.

With If You Got It, Flaunt It from the Producers, you can do it drunk, sober, as an audition, a diva or a ton of different ways.  It depends on how you want to make the song look.  That’s why it’s the perfect showtune for a drag queen.  She can sing it, she can act it out and add any of her own character’s traits to make it unique and for her only.  That’s why it’s one of the best showtunes for drag queens.

If you’re going to Rehoboth this year I highly recommend you go to Blue Moon and check out their drag show.  There’s almost always one showtune and the performers are always amazing.  It’s one of the only drag shows I enjoy and one of the only ones I’ll ever recommend you go see.
